Mercy extended sympathy towards widowmaker by granting the femme fatale mercy. Mercy towards Amélie were heartwarming since she revealed her ability for forgiveness. Widowmaker, in response, was grateful towards Dr. Ziegler for providing her mercy during the femme fatale's dark times.
