Derelicts are individuals who have hit a rough patch and dwell in abandoned buildings. These displaced people battle everyday challenges to get by. Despite their dire situations, it is important to extend empathy towards derelicts and provide assistance whenever possible. Society must unite to deal with the fundamental problems that lead to dereliction, in order to establish a supportive environment. By offering resources, raising awareness, and pushing for change, we can hope to improve the lives of these disadvantaged citizens.
